This beautiful place of Cameron Highlands in Malaysia has many things to offer, but what attracts visitors the most is its natural beauty. With amazing landscape and tranquillity in every corner, this place is one of the most sought after places for nature lovers. As Cameron Highlands is situated in comparatively higher altitude the weather here is always comfortable. 1. Tea Plantations: Cameron Highlands is known for its many tea estates such as Boh Tea Plantation, Sungai Palas Tea Plantation and Cameron Valley Tea Plantation. Boh Tea Plantation is the largest of these. The tourists are allowed to visit the tea factories and learn about the tea making process. The tea farms make the hills looks very beautiful and the British architecture and few building are still preserved with obvious few modern additions giving the place a feel of royalty.

2. Strawberry Farms: Cameron Highlands is known for its strawberry cultivation and tourists can visit the strawberry farms like are Big Red Strawberry Farm, Healthy Strawberry Farm and Kashimani’s Strawberry Farm. Visitors are allowed to pick strawberries from the farm and pay some nominal prices to the farmer. Other strawberry products are also easily available nearby like homemade strawberry jams, pickled strawberry, strawberry ice cream, strawberry cake etc.

3. Time Tunnel Museum: Opened in the year 2007, this museum takes the visitors though the history of Cameron Highlands. With hundreds of photographs and interesting collections of unique as well as vintage things, this museum is one of its kinds in Malaysia.

4. Mossy Forest: With moss and lichen covering the area, this high altitude forest is unique and is worth a visit especially for nature enthusiasts.

5. Gungung Brinchang: Situated at the height of 2032 metres this is the highest point accessible by motor cars. There is a watch tower here and the view is amazing.

6. Cactus Valley: One of the few places in the world where one can learn about cactus. Probably all kinds of cactus are available here and in plenty. Few cactuses are more than sixty years old. Although famous for cactus, other floral exhibits are also there.

7. Butterfly Farms: One can find many different colours of butterflies flying around this farm freely among various beautiful flowers. The most special of all butterflies which is seen here is Raja Brook butterfly.

8. Honey Bee Farms: The three of the most popular honey bee farms are Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee Farm, High Land Honey Bee Farm and the Cameron Tringcap Bee farm. The visitors can learn about different methods of extracting honey from the bee hives.

9. Tompson Fall: A perfect place to swim in natural environment, Tompson Falls is one of the most popular destinations in Cameron Highlands. This place is named after the American born silk manufacturer Jim Thompson who mysteriously disappeared in March 1967.

10. The Night Market: Locally known as Pasar Malam meaning ‘night market’, it actually starts early in the evening at 3 pm and comes to life by 5 pm. The Night Market only operates in weekends and holidays. With so many places to see and visit, tourists can book Cameron Highlands hotels and plan for a holiday here.
