Entry from: Cameron Highlands, Malaysia Entry Title: “Figjam In Cameron Highlands” Entry: “08/10/10 — Cameron Highlands – Finally after a lengthy stretch of laying on the beach, snorkelling, diving and drinking I have done something productive and worth writing about! · In my last blog I was on the Pulau Perhentian big island. The idea after there was to briefly move to the small island where there is some backpacker and nightlife to in order to take a break from all the dive training before I moved on. · I arrived on the small island around the 22nd September 2010 and after 3 days of lounging around and drinking with other travellers I bought a ticket leaving to Malaysia interior. · Despite these good intentions to leave, one thing led to another and almost 2 weeks later I still found myself on Perhentian small island, still doing the same thing, snorkelling, lying on the beach and drinking! · Were it not for the weather starting to change with the onset of the monsoon I probably would still be there today! · Eventually managing to leave Perhentian small island, I now moved to Cameron Highlands in the Malaysia interior. The mode of transport was a ferry back from Perhentian islands to the port town of Kuala Besut. From there a minivan and 6 hours of sitting brought me to the alpine town of Cameron …
